Brittany Taylor
I am a proud graduate of the pilot Cohort 1 program. I began my journey in the construction field as a laborer, which eventually led me to work as a non-union carpenter and later as a union carpenter. After four years in the self-performing sector, I transitioned into management and currently serve as a superintendent for Focus, a Chicago-based general contractor and development company.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active by going to the gym, playing basketball, bowling, and gaming. I also value spending time with my friends and family. On weekends, I occasionally take on side projects for clients. To continuously grow in my role, I enjoy watching YouTube videos to gain new insights and expand my professional knowledge.
I am passionate about advocating for women and minority women in the construction industry. I am actively involved in community networks such as Professional Women in Construction (PWC), the Revolution Workshop Alumni Board, and the Polished Pebbles Girls Mentoring Program.
