Mary Person
Mary’s career has been focused on providing opportunities and opening doors in the construction industry. She is currently the Senior Vice President of Public-Private Initiatives at Clayco. She previously served as Director of Government Relations and External Affairs at Paschen. In that role, her primary responsibilities were threefold, establishing strategy, managing relationships, and advancing opportunities. As part of Paschen’s Executive Team, she worked to create new strategies that foster growth and development within the Transit Market Sector. Mary also oversaw government relations, client relations, business development, and company growth locally and nationwide. One of her major responsibilities was to establish relationships with minority firms not only in Chicago, but also in Atlanta, Dallas, North Carolina, and the Washington D.C. area. Mary worked every day to promote a culture that values and supports diversity. Mary joined Paschen with 14 years of industry experience, which includes three years as Director of Diversity Programs for Chicago Transit Authority, the second largest transit agency in the country. She earned a B.B.A. in Finance from Loyola University.
